Intensive Learning
and Self-Renewal
For Therapists

The Centre for Expressive Therapy offers unique learning opportunities for mental health professionals working in a variety of capacities, including counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, art, play and expressive arts therapists and family therapists. The courses are post-graduate level and are designed for experienced therapists interested in incorporating Expressive Play Therapy® into their practices.

The Centre for Expressive Therapy is accredited by the Association for Play Therapy (Provider #95-010), the BC Play Therapy Association (Provider #18-01), and the Canadian Association for Play Therapy (Provider #09-102) to offer continuing education specific to play therapy. These courses may earn learning credits toward registration as a play therapist with APT and certification as a play therapist with CAPT and BCPTA. Each seminar offers 6 CEU credits per day.

All training is conducted by Marie José Dhaese.
